You’ll learn how to safely handle, mix, store, and apply agricultural chemicals in line with legislation. Ideal for anyone spraying on land they don’t own or occupy, including farm workers, contractors, and council staff.
Overview
Our nationally recognised training, delivered on behalf of All States Training (RTO 32577) is designed to provide the skills and knowledge required to safely prepare, apply, transport, store, and handle agricultural chemicals in line with legislative and environmental requirements. Completing this course enables individuals to apply for an ACDC Licence with their state regulatory body (e.g., Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries)
On successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by All States Training.
Course Content
Participants will gain knowledge and practical skills in:
- Identifying and controlling pest weeds and diseases
- Safely transporting, storing, mixing, and applying chemicals
- Understanding chemical labels and SDS requirements
- Minimising environmental and personal risks
- Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately
- Cleaning and maintaining chemical application equipment
- Implementing emergency and spill response procedures
