This combined course covers safe and effective chainsaw maintenance and trimming of felled trees. Participants will learn how to clean, inspect, and service chainsaws, as well as safely trim branches and section trees after felling.

Overview

Our nationally recognised training, delivered on behalf of All States Training (RTO 32577), equips you or your team with the skills and certification to operate this equipment confidently and safely.

This combined course provides the skills and knowledge required to maintain chainsaws in working condition and safely trim and cut previously felled trees. It includes sharpening, tensioning, cleaning, and replacing parts, as well as identifying hazards, planning cuts, and managing risks in post-felling environments..

On successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by All States Training.

  • Chainsaw maintenance procedures: cleaning, sharpening, replacing parts
